Alyssa In the Spring

It's a brand new week and let me tell you I'm exhausted! I had an overnight shift last night and I'm just now going to bed. But of course I had to put this post up cause I know I'll be sleep just about all day.

So..this title has a meaning behind it. At work, my asst mgr/home skillet Alyssa is famous for wearing her skater dresses with leggings underneath paired with boots. It's pretty much a comfy outfit I must say. I stepped out of my comfort zone a little 'cause I would normally wear this bare-legged and with some open-toe sandals. I guess you could say this is my winter look.  This dress has been keeping my closet comfortable for about a year. This is my first time wearing it! Perfect for the nice weather we've started having.

Enough rambling. I'm gonna go knockout. Toodles!!

I know I'm a little late to the party, but I'm finally wearing some plaid. Excuse me, the husbands plaid. I've only seen him wear it once. As much as I would love to raid his closet for my outfits, all he wears are graphic tees and his work undershirts. I really need to help him step his wardrobe up. Anyhoo, I added the pearl bling to add that girly touch. Along with my new Madden Girl booties that I love. They're so comfy! Btw, I promise my picture quality will get better. I hate the sun at times.

Fly Girl

Hi loves! I've been waiting days to post this look. I am in total love with this dress. Ever since they debuted it on F21, I put it in my wishlist but waited for it to arrive in the store to try it on. I love it! It's a bodycon so it's form fitting. What caught my eye were the neon colors and the abstract print. I also recently bought my first denim jacket from Ross for only $20! I knew right then and there I wanted to pair these two together.  When I put everything on, it instantly reminded me of an In Living Color Fly Girl. Lol. The boots, gold chain, box earrings..

Btw, whenever I wear these boots, I feel so kick-ass. They're definitely my go-to for a Zombie Apocalypse.

Concrete Brigade And Thunderbolt

Let's get one thing straight. I am NOT a thug. I just like to pretend to be one. Lol! 

Anyway, I wore this to work Saturday and my asst manager looked at me and said "You look so Concrete Brigade today." Yea, I knew you wouldn't get it. Concrete Brigade is actually one of the "rooms" in the F21 store. It's known for its edgy/chic style. Spikes, studs, black/olive/white/brown colors.. Except there's no chic in this outfit. Troy has been wanting to take pics in front of this tank forever so we finally headed down there because it just seemed like the perfect location for this getup. When we got this Snoop tank at work, I had to have it! Who doesn't love Snoop!? I could listen to anything Snoop, Pac, Dre, and Eminem all day! Westsiiiiiide!!

 By the way, I only dress like this maybe twice a month. I just have that day when I don't want to do my hair, dress down and throw on some boots. Do you have one of those days?

In Bloom

Ever upload your pics to see you have so many you love and want to post them all!? That's how I felt about these. Hubs did a great job with these I couldn't decide which few to put on the blog so I'm featuring most of them.  He found this little spot walking home and took me to it. These flowers are in different little spots on base so we took advantage. 

I love this look. I wore this last week and yea, I'm just now posting. Troy has been switched to mid shifts (overnight) so it's difficult to get him to take my pics now. Don't get caught off guard one day if y'all see me posing in my house! This outfit was comfy and since I'm back to working retail again, there's no way I can handle heels for 8 hrs. Since it's still a bit breezy down here in FL, my combats still have front row seats. I'm wearing my pleated blouse that I also wore previously here. This might be the last time you see me wear this because it's too big now!
