HisWear

I know I'm a little late to the party, but I'm finally wearing some plaid. Excuse me, the husbands plaid. I've only seen him wear it once. As much as I would love to raid his closet for my outfits, all he wears are graphic tees and his work undershirts. I really need to help him step his wardrobe up. Anyhoo, I added the pearl bling to add that girly touch. Along with my new Madden Girl booties that I love. They're so comfy! Btw, I promise my picture quality will get better. I hate the sun at times.

Just Call Me Dot

I told y'all I'm falling in love with polka dots! I just can't get enough. I saw a lady try this dress on at work and I fell in love with it! It was the last size so I knew it was a sign. Now I need to move onto dots with color! If you follow my IG (ahem, here), you've probably seen a photo when I wore this awhile back but I never got to post the pictures on here. So here ya go!

A Special Day x2/eShakti Review

I've been waiting for the weather to break to wear this little number. Yesterday was my and Troy's 2nd anniversary. I figure why not wear something to do with love?!
Awhile back I was contacted by eShakti to pick an item and give it a review. Here it is..

I loved this skirt when I first received it and couldn't wait to wear it. It fits great and it's high-waisted. I had it customized to knee-length and pockets added.  I went to put it on and it was cute and everything, but the puffiness under the waist area was not cutting it. I even ironed it forever and it still stayed. Not to mention the wrinkles didn't come out either. It also makes my butt look really flat! I would love this skirt more if it was a little more fitted.

About eShakti
eShakti began as a small website offering basic cottons and modestly embellished pieces. As we grew, we were tasked with providing design and fit solutions to meet our customers' needs. Today, we are an international fashion design company making custom clothing. Offering both style and fit customization for women size 0 through 36 is the heart of our business.

I absolutely love eShakti's products. Anything can be customized to fit your needs. They always have sales but everything goes so quickly! At the moment,  they have a deal where if you register now, you get $25 off your first order! Not to mention they have super fast shipping! Head over to eShakti now to find an item of the latest trends!

And yesterday was also Hanson Day! Most of you know from following me on Instagram, that I'm in love with my favorite band. May 6th is a big deal in Tulsa and to Hanson fans everywhere. On that day in '97, the then-governor of Tulsa declared it Hanson day because their first album, Middle of Nowhere was released. Pretty much every year, Hanson holds a weekend long members only event to their fans. Pretty neat huh?! (Btw, having my wedding on Hanson day was totally unplanned. I swear it!)

Welcome to the Jungle

Ok. So I wasn't in love with this dress when it was hanging there on the rack. I tried it on just cause. And when I did, I fell in love with it. I'm in love with the hi-lo trend and the breeze was totally cooperating. I was trying to think of what belt to wear with it when I spotted this chunky thing in my closet. I've never worn it and now it's a little loose from when I lost weight. Oh well! I paired it with my red clutch and my Prabal Gurung sandals. I walked pass my mirror and noticed how this dress makes my legs look so slim! Yea, I knew I was cute then.

This was my first time wearing these heels and they're not too bad. I just hate the fact that my toes slip out on the sides! ugh!  And they're kinda comfy!
