A Mix of Navy

It's Monday!!!! (Enter annoyed emoji face here.) I'm really trying to to do blog posts at least 3x a week, but these overnight shifts have been KILLING me. I am already tired before the sun goes down most days so I can't sneak in any pics. I promise I'll try!

I don't think I'll ever get rid of this Phillip Lim skirt. Most skater skirts come up to my buttcheeks but this one is the perfect length. (I just have to remember to squat, not bend.) And I'm really not to one to mix prints, but boy have I been doing it alot lately! I stayed with the color story and paired it with this striped top that I pretty much wear with everything, along with my favorite bag at the moment.

Ugh. It's raining as I'm putting this post together..before work..at 5am. FML. Just the thought of going outside makes me feel disgusting. But whatever.

This sweater is so warm and comfy. I got so many compliments on my outfit the other day. I think the pops of red did the trick :)

I'm Back & Ready for Fall!

Well, I'm back and boy has it been awhile! I never intended to take a hiatus from my blog but life smacked me in the face. Too many things happened at once. My husband is now overseas so before he left, we decided to move somewhere so I'd be closer to my job. This meant a school change for Brayden. He is now keeping me busy by participating in Cub Scouts and playing in County soccer. And let's not mention work! We also moved my mom and baby sister down to Fl from VA and the help she's given has been great. If it wasn't for my mom, idk what I'd do! Being without my husband for a year+ makes me realize how responsible I need to be. He'd be on my back about getting this and that taken care of while I procrastinate. I always rely on him for all of that! Life..the struggle! 

Anyway, I haven't stopped taking photos completely so there are some still to be blogged. Since moving, we've found more great places for photoshoots. We live basically across the street from the beach so I mean..what more do I have to say?!  I posted a sneak of these on IG awhile ago so here's the set!

I bought this sweater in the Men's at F21. I love it. It's comfy and a little oversized. 

And you probably can't tell but I tried that new Maybelline Elixir and OMG i love it! Such a great substitute for a Carmex lover (like me).

Welcome to the Jungle

Ok. So I wasn't in love with this dress when it was hanging there on the rack. I tried it on just cause. And when I did, I fell in love with it. I'm in love with the hi-lo trend and the breeze was totally cooperating. I was trying to think of what belt to wear with it when I spotted this chunky thing in my closet. I've never worn it and now it's a little loose from when I lost weight. Oh well! I paired it with my red clutch and my Prabal Gurung sandals. I walked pass my mirror and noticed how this dress makes my legs look so slim! Yea, I knew I was cute then. 

This was my first time wearing these heels and they're not too bad. I just hate the fact that my toes slip out on the sides! ugh!  And they're kinda comfy!
