The Cable Knit Poncho

Happy New Year to you all! I hope you had a great time bringing in 2015 with your loved one(s). I, on the other hand, wasn't feeling it too much. Ya know..missin' the hubs. :( Anyhoo, this is my first outfit post of the year! I am totally feeling this poncho. It's so cute and goes with everything. I just want to wear it all the time..kinda like a coat. Would that be weird..or nah?? I kept it simple and paired it with some basics. I wanted all eyes to go the poncho with it being the main piece. And this CK bag is probably my favorite investment in awhile. It definitely goes just about everywhere with me!

Ugh. It's raining as I'm putting this post together..before work..at 5am. FML. Just the thought of going outside makes me feel disgusting. But whatever.

This sweater is so warm and comfy. I got so many compliments on my outfit the other day. I think the pops of red did the trick :)

Hey y'all! I'm back again. Trying not to go so long between posts but it's hard with LIFE! I'm constantly trying to find ways to stay busy while my husband is gone. If you all have any suggestions, please let me know!

Can you guess who took these pics? My 8 year old! He's still learning how to hold the camera so they may seem a little tilted lol. But they came out so crisp and clear. I'm so proud of him. :) I bought this striped bodycon last year and absolutely love it! It's long sleeved and hugs all the right curves.  I paired it with my fav denim jacket from Ross and my go-to boots from ShoeDazzle. It's starting to get a little chilly down here in the panhandle so I added these tights into the outfit and BAM! Day is made. And isn't this cute little clutch hotness!? It's the perfect size. I love it!

Thank you to this special guy right here! (I told him this job is considered a chore so he gets an allowance. Teehee)

Hey boo's! Here's another look from the broken camera. Such a cool-toned color duo.  The skirt's a little darker than the pictures. And I love these freakin' boots. I can't get enough of them! Sucks I'll have to store them away cause the hot weather is on its way. Anyhoo, y'all have a great weekend!

Errands.

Hey loves! Todays look is what I wore when the boys and I went out to run errands. Comfy casual. I love these new boots from ShoeDazzle. I got them during the $25 boots/booties sale. They're perfect for work and go with just about everything. I also bought this turtleneck from Target while the after Christmas sale was going on and I love it. I think it looks so cute with the short hair look and with it being black. I paired it with my skinny jeans from F21 and there ya go! How much more casual can you get?

A Little Grown Up

I've had this dress for a couple years now. I bought it because I had an office job at the time and it looked like office attire. Classy and dressy. Except I'd wear it with heels. And my blue blazer. But this cardigan is perfect for work.

Off to the Races

Every time I post an outfit, I always tell myself I'll post more often. At least 3 a week. But that never happens.  But that's a resolution for the New Year..

I had this outfit planned for about a week and when I was leaving for work, it looked to plain. So I added the blazer and the scarf and voila! The blazer I thrifted for under $10 and this is my first time wearing it. I love it and went great with the outfit. This bag is probably my new fav. I bought it when F21 had their 50% off all handbags sale. 

Btw, the other day at work, I saw this chick wearing this exact outfit (minus the blazer, scarf, and socks). Maybe she came in the day I wore it. It creeped me out but felt good to be an inspiration lol.

A Long Walk

We found this cute little trail after Brayden's last soccer game and decided to take pictures. This will probably be the only place (besides my yard) I find that has so many leaves! I love it!

I love this sweater so much I bought it in black as well. They go with everything and such great Autumn staples. And for only $15! I was a little iffy on the wearing waffle-knit at first, but I kinda like it. I've been buying my sweaters oversized just so they're comfy enough! I have to take advantage of everything I buy because the cold doesn't stay long here. :( I've also stocked up on leggings because, well, who doesn't love wearing them under sweaters? 

It's time for a haircut..
