Hey loves! Todays look is what I wore when the boys and I went out to run errands. Comfy casual. I love these new boots from ShoeDazzle. I got them during the $25 boots/booties sale. They're perfect for work and go with just about everything. I also bought this turtleneck from Target while the after Christmas sale was going on and I love it. I think it looks so cute with the short hair look and with it being black. I paired it with my skinny jeans from F21 and there ya go! How much more casual can you get?

ModCloth Campaign Challenge

Hey guys! Guess what?! It snowed here in FL! Yea, crazy right?! But right now it's all ice. Roads are closed down and everywhere is pretty much closed. (We have no salt trucks here.) Sucks. We can't even go out to get food. Ugh!

Anyhoo, the lovely ladies over at ModCloth contacted me to put together an outfit around one particular item for their Uniquely You campaign. The challenge was the Palette on Parade Dress. It has that vintage look to it and I wanted the attention to be on the dress so I made everything else somewhat simple. I see myself wearing this for an office job or maybe on a lunch date with the girls. Since I live in FL, the trench and scarf would definitely be worn right about now. I tried to stick to the color scheme as close as possible since there's alot going on in the dress. This is what I chose..

I know I'm a little late to the party, but I'm finally wearing some plaid. Excuse me, the husbands plaid. I've only seen him wear it once. As much as I would love to raid his closet for my outfits, all he wears are graphic tees and his work undershirts. I really need to help him step his wardrobe up. Anyhoo, I added the pearl bling to add that girly touch. Along with my new Madden Girl booties that I love. They're so comfy! Btw, I promise my picture quality will get better. I hate the sun at times.
