eShakti Product Review

When the ladies over at eShakti contacted me saying they found my blog and that they wanted me to do a product review, I was ecstatic! I actually thought the email was spam! I didn't think I would be contacted for something like this so quickly so I'm still pretty excited this happened.

eShakti offers design and customization for women sizes 0-30. They also have customization that starts at $7.50, with your first customization being free! Right now, they are having a up to 60% off sale that ends on 12/15, so I advise you to make it over! So many great items and they're always adding more!

I wanted this dress to wear to my husband's ALS graduation ceremony and when I saw that they shipped from India, I thought it may not arrive in time. Guess what? My dress came in 2 days! They do give about 2 weeks to ship from your date of order, so I was surprised at how fast it came.

I love everything about this dress. The color, the sequins, the fit, everything. It even has pockets! Since this dress is originally sleeveless,  I had it customized and had cap sleeves added and wanted it knee-length. They have you put in your measurements, so it came out perfect! I don't have much green in my closet and I love how it looks on me. They had this dress in black, but I wanted green for the holidays. Hopefully these other items I've been eyeing will make their way to my closet soon!

Thank you eShakti for sending me this lovely piece!

ASI Christmas Party

Tuesday night was our work Christmas party. I took my hubby along and we had a great time. I didn't have time to do an actual post, so we just took a few before everyone started showing up. I've been waiting to get this dress for awhile. It sold out in this color and they finally stocked it. And the shoes. I love them. They have black studs along the heel and I got them for $26 :).

Giving Thanks

So I took these photos yesterday before starting dinner and didn't get the chance to upload them.  I absolute love this dress. Downside is it's a large and it may be the last time i wear it. :( I bought it back when I lived in AZ and that's when I was a bit chunkier. And at that time it was super short. I decided to pair it with a random belt and these sandals. I went nowhere special, just decided to take some pics because I know I won't have any time until next week. This weekend will be super busy because I have to work both jobs, so I'm looking at 3 15hr work days in a row. Pray for me!

This Thanksgiving, I'm just thankful for having the best people around to keep me up and running. My husband, son, co-workers. It's my family's second year celebrating the holidays together. This time of year really gets me homesick because I start to miss friends and family back home..and the food!
What did you do for Thanksgiving? :)

Breaking Dawn

Yes, I went to see Breaking Dawn today. I'm usually a go-to-see-it-at-midnight type of girl, but since my son has started school, that's a no-go. I was just amazed at how incredible the movie turned out. And of course, I teared up all through out the movie. But what got me all mushy were the end credits. :( So sad to see Twilight come to an end. But I'll most definitely be going to see it again!

I've had this shirt for awhile and just now wearing it. It's sleeveless and since the weather has been dropping, I decided to pair it with this jacket and my new booties. I kind of stepped out of my zone with this outfit and I loved it. I could feel eyes glancing at me all day!

I love how comfortable these shoes are. Unfortunately, they run about a 1/2 size larger so I had some extra room. Even though when I got home, I could feel blisters developing. :(

And if you also haven't noticed, black, red, and white are Twilight colors! =)

Scarf Print

Hello Lady!
Here's my first outfit post for November! I'm so used to cold weather this time of year, but here in FL it's just chilly. Since the time change, I have to rush home to take pics before it gets dark. Not liking that at all. Anyway, I bought this dress from Forever 21 awhile back. I love the material. It's not tight and it's not short! The perfect length for one with hips. The only thing i wasn't too happy about was the cleavage. I had to keep pulling it up and eventually had to put a safety pin in to hold it over.

I bought these heels from the Base Exchange early summer for only $20! I love the patent look and they don't hurt at all.

I originally wanted to go with my black tote, but I went with the clutch to bring out the red in my dress.

Besides the time change, I've got another PT job for the holidays. So who knows how often I'll be posting. I hope as much as I can. Anything for you guys!

Ready for Combat

Do you have that one item that you've been dying to get for the longest? And you couldn't buy it because you didn't have the money or it was sold out in your size?
Same here. Except my problem with this one particular item were the reviews.

A few months back, I found the perfect combat boot. Madden Girl Raszcal Boot. I've been putting it off because of the price. It sold out in my size on Zooshoo so I headed over to Amazon and they have it for a few bucks cheaper. That's when I noticed the reviews. Most buyers were saying after the first/second time they've been worn, they start to scuff at the toe. My reaction: NOOOOOOOO!!! :(

So, what to do? Do I buy them anyway and take my chances..or just not buy them and save my money for a different boot?
Has this happened to you? What would you do?

Love For My Sweets

So I found a new picture spot. I saw it while out walking my dog one day and thought it'd be cool to take some flicks. I love that it's actually a trail off of the main road. Not too many people go over to this area.  The only thing I wasn't too fond of was my heels kept sinking into the ground! So alot of my weight stayed on the balls of my feet lol. Also, this was a nice area because this is probably the closest that I'll get to any leaves. Not too many around here changing color :(

This was one of those days that I just wanted to wear something simple and comfy. Earlier, I had actually paired these with my knee high boots because it was chilly, but since it warmed up I slipped these new bad boys on to show them off.

Someone decided to jump into a picture with me.
Meet Brayden!

Let me tell y'all how long I've been waiting to get these shoes. I first saw them on JustFab and for some reason I kept holding out. Then I saw that Bakers had them, but they were $25 more! So I just waited awhile to see if JustFab would get them again. They haven't yet, so when Bakers had a 30% off sale, I snatched them before they could sell out. I finally have them and they somewhat comfy for a few, but probably not something to walk around in all day. I'm a cupcake/bright color person, so these were the perfect shoe for me!

I'd also like to say thank you to everyone that has been taking the time out to visit my blog and leave me comments. Feel free to add my blog and i'll do the same. If you don't have Blogger, just put your email into the box up top and my posts will get emailed to you! Win/Win!
