New Haul In!

I finally went out shopping the other day. Lord Jesus, it felt great! I haven't shopped for myself since before Christmas. In a way, that was a good thing. I stopped by B&BW, Target, TJMaxx, and Forever 21 to grab a few things. Here's what I got.

Of course I had to stop by B&BW. They were having their 2/$22 sale for their 3-wick candles and 3/$10 sale for the mini's. Since my husband loves anything to do with the beach or island, I picked these up from the Tropical Escape collection. (The Pink Sangria was for me.) I can't wait to burn these!

Maybelline's lip colors are a favorite of mine. I have some others than the ones shown, these are just recent purchases. Mauve It Up and Blissful Berry were more fall colors but I can't stop wearing them. Hot Plum and Shocking Coral are from the newest collection, Sensational Vivids. I love the Color Sensationals because they're so creamy and they have crisp color!

The three in the back are Revlon's ColorStay Ultimate Suede Lipsticks. They contain shea butter and aloe and have a soft suede finish. The colors are Private Viewing, High Heels, & Backstage. The one in the front is the Super Lustrous Lipstick in Violet Frenzy. I wanted to try something more daring and dark.

I'm loving this Photoready concealer. I hate these dark circles under my eyes so this is now my new best friend. I've heard good things about the Nearly Naked items so I decided to give it a try. I may have to purchase the liquid as well, just to see what's better for me.

I also picked up some new mascara. My Covergirl tube ran a bit dry (I don't use mascara often) so I picked up the new Rocket from Maybelline. I tested it out today while I sat around the house. Not too bad. And I love the coloring of the tube!

Don't you just love $1 items? I picked these up from Target. Now I'm not a makeup pro or anything, so I'll take what I can get. I don't know how good Elf products are but I'm willing to give them a shot. If it does the deed, I can't complain.

I was so broke when the Prabal Gurung collection came to Target, so I was lucky I could get my hands on these about a week later. These are super comfy and I actually had to go a whole size down. I can't wait to wear these soon!

I rarely shop in the Forever 21 store. I'd rather order online. The belted skirts were only $12.60 and the other 3 were only $6.80. I couldn't help but to go overboard and grab a few. They had a cute pink color but not in my size :(  The flats I needed for work. Can't work in heels all day!

My husband and I are face product junkies. We're always switching up our products to see what works. I get blackheads all the time (mainly from soda) so I picked up the scrub. A couple days later, I saw that the morning burst was on sale. Oh my God, it feels great! And it actually does wake me up!

I recently picked up a PT job at a women's boutique called Private Gallery. They have stores in the Southeastern part of the U.S. and one in TX. They carry designer brands such as French Connection, BB Dakota, MM Couture, Michael Kors, Hobo, Michael Stars, and others. I've seen so many cute things I want already! I'm pretty sure that you'll see me rockin' some items from P.G. very soon! If you don't have a store where you live, you can check out their website!

A Little Valentine Pep

A mirror can be such a bitch sometimes. You ever look at it and look so good but then when you see your pictures, it's like UGH!? Yea, today was one of those days. It was so weird wearing my own hair out. I had it wrapped for 2 days and finally let it out. My hair takes forever to grow! And I love my wigs!

This is what I wore for Valentine's Day. Me, Troy, and Brayden went out to Friday's for dinner. We don't really do anything special for this day, unless it's dinner. We're perfectly fine with cuddling and watching tv. My husband always surprises me with gifts so V-Day is just another day to us. I hope you all had a great V-Day!

I bought this peplum today at Goodwill for $2 and some change. On Mondays, everything is 50% off after 12pm. It had shoulder pads but I cut them out, and it does run kind of big. But it's so cute and it's my first piece of peplum I've worn. I get so jealous when I see other bloggers post their goodies from thrift stores cause they're super cheap. My Goodwill is kind of expensive for the stuff they have. That's why I will only shop on Mondays from now. (Or Wednesdays, which is their 20% off for military day.)

Kick-Ass Zombie Killer

You ever think about what you would do if a Zombie Apocalypse actually happened? I do, all the time.    I grew up watching zombie movies (thanks Mom!) and when Resident Evil became a movie, I was in love. I know it sounds crazy (and I know I'm not the only one), but I'm one of those people that actually has a plan when it happens. Like what I'll pack in my backpack, where I'll go to get weapons, etc.. And I'm almost at the point to where I'll actually pack and put everything in the truck of my car. Insane, I know.

Some of you may remember these boots from a post I did a few months back. I was hesitant about buying them because of reviews, but when they went on sale for $40ish, I caved in. I absolutely LOVE them. I wore them almost everyday when I went to VA. I still wear them occasionally (when it's cloud and chilly) and they're still in perfect condition. These would definitely be my go to boots for an apocalypse. I can tighten them up and have no problems and they're calf-length!

Also, who's ready for The Walking Dead tonight!? THIS GIRL! I have to let it be known that I am "unconditionally and irrevocably" in love with Daryl Dixon. Something about a dirty, zombie killin' redneck with a crossbow..

Comfy Casual

Ahhh. The weather here in FL has been ugh the past couple of days. No worries though. I love it. I'm not the type of person who just has to have sunshine every day.
I've had this shirt for awhile and it's really comfy. Not too thick, not too thin. Just what I like. My MIL gave me these jeans when I went home for Christmas and they fit great, but I can tell I'm still losing weight cause they're baggy in the back. Of course I had to roll them up because I'm short and they would have looked funny with my heels. These are one of the comfiest pair of heels I worn. Only because it has a thick platform. I love them!

Flashback Friday #1

Instagram has Throwback Thursday. My blog will now have Flashback Friday. So every single Friday from now on, I will post a picture (mostly of me) that was taken awhile back.
Here's the one for today :)

Also, I love Tegan + Sara.
Here's a video of them performing "Closer" on Jimmy Kimmel last night!
I must see them in concert this year!

Have a great weekend! <3
