OK. Before any of you ask, my favorite band is Hanson. Yes, Hanson. MMMBop Hanson. I've been a fan for 15 yrs now and it has been quite the musical ride.  Anyway, as you an probably guess by the title of this post, today indeed is my birthday. One year older. And sometimes i feel just like that: OLD.  Since high school, I never really cared for my birthday. I was more mature around that time and very responsible. These days I don't expect anything, but my husband always amazes. (Check the bottom of this post.)  So, here's todays post. I thought "why not spending my birthday with all 5 of my favorite guys?" :) 

Today is also the birthdays of one of my other fav bands, Tegan and Sara. I totally rocked the house today celebrating. How awesome?!

I'm in my bedroom watching Beauty and the Beast and reorganizing my blog, when my husband and son come in singing happy birthday to me while bringing me this. I'm such a sucker for yellow mix/ buttercream icing so everyone knows that's the kind of cake i love. And that's just what it was. And for my gift I got a crock-pot! I've been saying that I wanted one for the longest and Troy finally got it for me! It's on now!

Down By The Bay

2 posts in a row! Let's keep this going shall we? I really wanted to go out and shoot today because the weather was so nice. Well, minus the rain this morning. It was nice and breezy so we decided to go down by the bay. I wish everyday felt like this, then I'd feel right at home. I may have to take pics down there more often. Enjoy!

From sandals to Steve's..

I absolutely adore these heels from Steve Madden. The name is Opticall and I'm just now realizing that the straps can be removed! See how I wore them previously here. 

I bought this clutch for $15 from Aldo when their bags were on sale. I usually wait for Aldo accessories to go on sale because their prices are kinda high. I scored another clutch for the same price as well. This bag also has a shoulder chain that can be tucked inside.

Alright. So it's been a few weeks. Like I said before, I'm a slacker. Between work, my son starting school, and researching fashion ideas, I am pooped by the time I want to shoot. So, with that said, I finally got out to take some pics. In one of my previous posts, I explained how it's still too hot here to start dressing for Autumn. But that doesn't mean I can't wear Autumn colors. :) 

I've been searching for a nude colored clutch for the longest. It actually has a shoulder chain but I can tuck that inside to use as a clutch. I just love the gold trim as well. 

I love this accordion pleated detail in the back. I'm actually kind of upset cause when i ordered it, I bought a large. During this shoot, it kept pulling back so I had to keep tugging it down. Maybe I should go for a medium from now on? This weight loss is doing wonderful things!

The shoes that is. Hello ladies! Let me start this post of by saying...

SEPTEMBER!

September is my favorite month. Why? Well, it's my birthday month of course, why else?! September (to me) starts off the 2nd half of the year. Most of my family members birthdays are in September and it's when Autumn starts. My favorite season. Also, the temperature still hasn't dropped here in Florida. Looks like I won't really get an autumn this year. :(

So, I just had to kick off my fav month wearing my fav color. Pink of course. Enjoy!

FINALLY received my Payson's. I bought them in early July and I had to send them because they were ripped on the side. They finally sent my 2nd pair later that month and I'm just now wearing them. They're super comfortable and the platform is majorly light-weight. And I had to order them a half size up based on reviews. I love them.
