Sassy in Chiffon

Seems like alot of fellow bloggers are getting ready for fall. I would too, except it's still hot as hell here!  Hence why I haven't even started fall shopping yet. But I'm cool with it. I'm originally from VA so we get the four seasons there, but boy do I love the sunshine year round. On with the post..

I had originally wanted to name this post Blue Skies, but I changed my mind.  This has been the first day in over 2 weeks that it hasn't rained. So I didn't mind the little breeze that we did have. I'm trying to get in as many posts as possible because we might have a little of Hurricane Isaac headed towards our way. 

It was 5 o'clock so we had to stop and do the civilian salute while the bugle song played. 

I wanted to also share with you all that I've been on a juice fast for a whole week now. I'm so proud of myself and I didn't think I could actually do it. I've lost 7 lbs already and I have a pair of shorts that more than loose! Such a good feeling. I kind of cheated today and went out to lunch with my husband today, but I paid for it afterwards. :( I'll definitely be going back to it tomorrow! :)

Floral and Bold

I'm such a total slacker. But it isn't all my fault, i promise. It's been raining nearly every day, I've been sick, AND my husband has been on crutches so he was unable take my pictures. But I'm back on it. These were actually taken a couple days ago after it rained (and before it started again). These earrings are my fav. They were a gift from my mother-in-law for Christmas last year and i always get compliments on them.

I love my new clutch from Aldo. It was on sale for $18 along with another that I got and I knew I had to get them before they sold out. I love the floral print and it's cute for spring/summer. 

These wedges from Forever 21 are so comfy. It really feels like I'm walking on air when I wear them. I just might think to get another pair..

Pretty in Pink Pastels

Hey there! I actually wore this little number last week, but never posted it.
Let me start off by saying PINK is my favorite color. Especially bright pink. I painted my old bedroom pink, around the shade of the blazer I'm wearing.  This is one of my fav outfits that I've posted thus far. :)

I had been looking everywhere online for a pair of thee perfect mint colored jeans. Some were see-through or they just didn't have my size. Guess where i found these babies? Target. I love them and I can't wait to find some more tops to go with it.

My new favorite bag. I've been eyeing this bad boy for awhile on Lulu's website just waiting for it to go on sale. It never did. It finally sold out and then a couple days later they got it in stock again. I had to buy it before it sold out again.
