Happy Monday!

I fell in love with this dress when I saw it. I had to have it. Not to mention it was 20% off. Uh, yea! 

So when I wore it, it wasn't what I expected. And of course, it didn't look the same on me as it did on the model. I had to add the belt so it didn't make me look like a whale throughout the day. But I did add pics of what it looks like without the belt.

(Btw, as I was writing this post, this dress reminded me of those colored blocks you see on your tv in the middle of the night when the channel goes off air. You know what I'm talkin about..)

Maybe it's not too bad, but it looks weird to me. The dress has very thin material. I'm more of a bodycon gal, so having an item flow off my whole body sure didn't feel right.  It makes me look pregnant. Blah.

I played my first lottery on Wednesday. I had 3 number including the Powerball. I was feeling lucky that day..but not lucky enough. $7 is alot when you're broke! Let's talk about this top. Isn't it so cute! One of my coworkers wore it and I had to have it. The blue is so pretty against the white.  Check them out.

Word Up!

So I was originally supposed to post this yesterday for Eboni's Style Me Friday, buuuut I got a little busy. This weeks SMF is The Maxi Skirt. I wore this outfit awhile back at work but didn't get around to taking pictures. The skirt is so comfy and I like that I can wear it backwards so the slit is on the other side! The shirt is actually a crop top but I decided to tuck it in. It also has the sides similar to muscle tees and i HATE that. If you can tell, I tucked them into my bra. Lol. And for some reason this shirt reminds me of Da Brat. You figure it out.

The Scoopback Maxi

You ever have those days where you feel absolutely amazing? Just from what you're wearing, how your hair is styled, etc..? I feel most sexy when my hair is short. I've missed this cut so much and with it being so hot, I had to go back. I've shared some pics through my Instagram on Throwback Thursdays of my cut so some of you have already seen it. I got so tired of pulling it back in a bun (and plus it breaking my hair off) so I called up my friends sister to do my hair and voila! Here's how it looks!

By the way, I've been eyeing this dress for awhile at work. I finally tried it on and loved it, but I didn't buy it right away. When I couldn't stop thinking about it and how I looked in it, I bought it. Lol. I love the slits on the sides. Of course I didn't wear my heels to work, instead I wore my black/silver sandals from Prabal Gurung via Target. 

So tell me..when do you feel the most sexiest?!

A Little Pep In My Step

Ok so it's been awhile..again. Of course the excuse is always work. By the time I get off work and pick up my son, it's already time for dinner! So I never have time to take pics. Well, this weekend I have off so I'm taking the time to rewear these outfits and take photos. I love you guys this much! 

Anyways, I've had this shirt for awhile (go figure) and just now wearing it. I fell in love with it being pink (my fav color) and peplum. And I had to show off my "clutch", which is actually a makeup bag! It was only $5! I've been eyeing these heels for a minute and finally ordered them for only $12! Great huh!?
